Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and leadership to understand developer workflows and systematically reduce friction.
Lead cross-functional projects that improve reliability, efficiency, and cost savings.
Design, build, maintain, and document internal developer tools for internal and external customers.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines used by multiple teams and products.
Improve coding standards, engineering practices, and the software development lifecycle.
Adopt and deploy off-the-shelf tools and create short-term and long-term developer-experience roadmaps.
Design, develop, debug, optimize, test, and deploy web applications, microservices, and APIs.
Present developer-experience milestones, accomplishments, and updates to the engineering organization.

Knowledge of Python and/or Go and their surrounding tools, libraries, and best practices.
Experience developing CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams and products, preferably with GitLab.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience developing end-to-end web applications and microservices, including APIs.
Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Knowledge of software architecture, algorithms, and design patterns.
Experience building, maintaining, and delivering short-term and long-term roadmaps.
Broad experience across technologies and the ability to work effectively in new areas.
Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and practical decision-making skills.
