Base Salary
$131k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engage executive and technical customers to design AWS-based solutions for business problems.
- Define enterprise cloud and technology strategies and build customer buy-in.
- Analyze application portfolios, dependencies, and infrastructure components to assess migration feasibility.
- Architect secure, resilient, and scalable AWS solutions and guide deployment of infrastructure and applications.
- Create migration roadmaps, cost-benefit models, business cases, and total-cost-of-ownership studies.
- Build and test demonstrations and proofs of concept and write technical content such as blog posts and papers.
- Collaborate with AWS Sales, Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, professional services, product managers, and consulting partners.
- Coach and mentor junior Solutions Architects and share best practices across the AWS architecture community.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- At least 4 years of experience in a technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- At least 2 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience working in software development or Internet-related industries is preferred.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud is preferred.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective is preferred.
