Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and evolve server-side and client-side applications.
- Own technical design, development, testing, and the quality of assigned solutions.
- Optimize API response times and improve visibility through metrics, distributed tracing, and aggregated trace metrics.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and domain experts to communicate technical possibilities and limitations.
- Provide feedback on technology, development lifecycle, and processes.
- Take ownership of code, tasks, and role responsibilities while mentoring teammates.
- Investigate new technologies and contribute to continuous improvements in the platform and development practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
- Proficiency in the React and Node.js ecosystems.
- Experience with NoSQL databases and familiarity with Docker.
- Good knowledge of browser APIs, the DOM, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Commitment to testing, clean code, and clean architecture.
- Ability to collaborate, help teammates, solve problems together, and take ownership of solutions.
- Preferred experience includes MongoDB, Redis, Express, Fastify, GraphQL, AWS, Next.js, Redux, Styled Components, distributed systems, high-traffic websites, Git, JIRA, remote work, and open-source projects.
- Preferred knowledge includes microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
