Base Salary
$153k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze Censys telemetry and derived datasets to identify signals for AI/ML model training.
- Build and improve training and evaluation datasets using Internet telemetry and curated labels.
- Drive feature discovery, selection, and labeling strategies for security classification models.
- Work on multi-layer labeling and classification problems for risk assessment.
- Partner with Research and Detection teams to create actionable workflows.
- Collaborate with ML and software engineers to ensure practical model inputs.
- Contribute to feedback loops and evaluation frameworks for model improvement.
- Build tooling to support data analysis and model training efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in research or software engineering with a security data focus.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and turning ambiguous data into usable information.
- Strong programming skills in Go/Python and experience with SQL for data analysis.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Comfort with security-relevant data and technical judgment on Internet-exposed entities.
