Base Salary
$149k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own tier-1 backend services serving hundreds of millions of end users.
- Design and deliver commerce initiatives, platform capabilities, features, and functionality end-to-end.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, Scrum ceremonies, and cross-functional problem solving.
- Provide rotational on-call support for critical services.
- Investigate technical components and build robust, high-quality architectures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of related experience creating and coding backend services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study.
- Proven track record of driving impact.
- Backend server-side development experience for tier-1 services.
- Expertise in at least one language on the JVM.
- Experience working with cloud providers.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience investigating technical components and taking ownership of feature development.

- Hiring range of $148,700 to $199,400 per year in New York, NY.
- Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be included in the compensation package.
