Base Salary
$181k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop backend systems for large-scale web applications primarily in Go.
- Write clean, modular, robust code that meets product requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and technical and product teams.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and other team processes.
- Optimize code and tune system performance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and work during core US business hours.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of enterprise software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of HTTP and related networking protocols, including technologies such as Varnish and H2O.
- Hands-on experience developing and operating backend systems for web applications.
- Strong Linux, automation, and shell scripting skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
- Strong interest in network security.
- Prior experience building security solutions is preferred.
- Expertise building in Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
