Responsibilities
- Own and drive front-end architecture and implementation for CPQ and lifecycle management features.
- Build reusable, high-quality React and TypeScript components and applications for pricing, billing, subscription, and revenue workflows.
- Optimize user interfaces for usability, accessibility, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Integrate React front ends with Salesforce Platform APIs, Apex services, Lightning endpoints, data models, and automation.
- Collaborate with Node.js and Java backend teams to define API contracts, error handling, and edge-case behavior.
- Debug issues across browsers, APIs, backend services, and Salesforce integrations.
- Participate in and lead architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Instrument and monitor front-end applications and use performance, reliability, and usage data to guide improvements.
- Contribute to shared UI libraries, coding standards, testing practices, and front-end tooling.
- Mentor other engineers and help translate quote-to-cash and subscription business rules into intuitive user experiences.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on front-end engineering.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building complex applications with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Solid server-side Node.js experience in API development, integration, or full-stack work.
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated unit, integration, and/or end-to-end tests; familiarity with Mabl or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of Java in a microservices or backend context.
- Strong front-end fundamentals including HTML, CSS, state management, routing, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- A strong portfolio or examples of previous projects and code.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and troubleshooting skills in fast-paced, ambiguous, and distributed environments.
- Preferred experience with enterprise systems, large-scale integrations, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Salesforce Platform integrations.
- Preferred ability to use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools.
