Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, test, and support software and computing systems for commercial and military aircraft engines.
- Develop software requirements, conduct software testing and simulation, and create engineering tools.
- Work with engine controls, sensors, electrical power systems, vehicle health and data management systems, real-time analytics, embedded controls, and engine test systems.
- Provide product and program support while building professional and technical skills through mentorship and training.
Requirements
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale without rounding.
- Be enrolled full time in a nationally accredited bachelor's or graduate program in computer engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related major.
- Be willing and able to work in the United States, primarily in Cincinnati, Ohio, or Lynn, Massachusetts.
- Have reliable transportation because many sites lack public transportation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language and strong knowledge of computer and Microsoft products.
- Provide legal authorization to work in the United States and meet the stated U.S. Person requirements for access to export-controlled information.
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
- Upperclassmen, aviation technology interest, analytical problem solving, leadership, teamwork, initiative, and adaptability are preferred.
