Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Android app and internal tooling.
- Build new configurable features and products from scratch.
- Develop international SDKs for client banking applications.
- Own projects and collaboratively deliver them in small cross-functional teams.
- Commit, review, ship, and maintain code from the first week.
- Improve Android CI automations and tooling.
- Share knowledge and contribute to the team’s learning culture.
- Prioritize security, accessibility, code quality, stability, and resilience.
- Write UI/E2E tests with Espresso and unit tests with JUnit, and manually test features before production.
- Work with QA engineers on complex feature delivery.
Requirements
- Experience developing Android applications and understanding a broad range of Android libraries and technologies.
- Ability to prioritize security across implementation, bug fixing, and technical improvements.
- Focus on accessibility and clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to take ownership of building, shipping, and maintaining software.
- Interest in or experience with maintaining libraries, contributing to open source software, or internationalisation is welcomed.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with colleagues of varied experience levels.
