Base Salary
$120k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and modernize enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, and modern .NET platforms.
- Build RESTful APIs, backend services, system integrations, responsive user interfaces, and scalable Microsoft SQL Server data solutions.
- Translate business and system requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, architecture diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and system specifications.
- Develop unit, integration, API, database, service-interaction, and front-end automated tests.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and improve application architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, security, and accessibility.
- Conduct peer code reviews, remediate SAST and DAST findings, and apply secure coding and software engineering practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and support legacy modernization, refactoring, and solution architecture efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework 4.x, and modern .NET platforms.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, backend services, Microsoft SQL Server databases, and enterprise integrations.
- Proficiency with React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience implementing unit, integration, and automated testing, including front-end test coverage.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments and collaborating with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications to .NET 8 or later is preferred.
- Experience with scalable microservices or service-oriented architectures, Microsoft Azure, enterprise APIs or messaging platforms, secure code reviews, security remediation, Section 508 accessibility, or mobile technologies is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Eight or more years of professional software development experience.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any security clearance or access requirements associated with the position.
Benefits
- Projected annualized compensation is $120,000 to $155,000 USD.
- Compensation is determined through a market-based strategy considering education, skills, experience, organizational requirements, contract affordability, and position location.
- The role requires prolonged desk and computer work and repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions, with reasonable accommodation available.
