Responsibilities
- Design and stand up multi-account AWS foundations with Organizations, Control Tower or equivalent, guardrails, and service control policies.
- Build secure VPC networking and private connectivity using VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, routing, and DNS.
- Define IAM roles, permission boundaries, cross-account access, and least-privilege identity controls.
- Create and maintain reusable, versioned Terraform and/or AWS CDK infrastructure modules.
- Design and own CI/CD pipelines that build, test, scan, and publish agent containers to Amazon ECR.
- Automate development, test, and production promotion with approval gates, rollback, and version tracking.
- Configure and deploy agents to AgentCore Runtime, including sessions, scaling, configuration, and secrets.
- Build standardized starter repositories, pipeline templates, security controls, documentation, decision records, and runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering experience, including at least 4 years building production AWS environments.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code skills with Terraform and/or AWS CDK or CloudFormation, including reusable modules.
- Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, cross-account access, permission boundaries, and service control policies.
- Strong AWS networking knowledge, including VPC design, routing, VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, and DNS.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, or similar tools.
- Strong container experience with Docker, Amazon ECR, and ECS, EKS, Fargate, or Lambda deployments.
- Experience with AWS Secrets Manager and Parameter Store for secrets and configuration management.
- Deep hands-on expertise in either infrastructure and IaC or CI/CD and runtime deployment, with working knowledge of the other area.
- Clear communication skills, client and vendor team collaboration, and prior consulting experience.
- Preferred qualifications include relevant AWS certifications, experience with Amazon Bedrock or AgentCore Runtime, LLM or agent deployments, policy-as-code and supply-chain security tools, and regulated-industry experience.
