Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve DevOps practices, processes, tools, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
- Automate manual and repetitive tasks using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Implement, manage, and support Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and other containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Design, enhance, and support CI/CD release pipelines and operational delivery processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, procedures, processes, and operational standards.
- Promote security best practices across development, deployment, and operations.
- Collaborate with technical, business, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Support infrastructure, operating systems, databases, artifact management, vulnerability management, and code quality activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with TeamCity, including API integrations and pipeline-as-code capabilities.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or AKS, Helm, GitOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitHub.
- Experience deploying and supporting cloud infrastructure, preferably in Microsoft Azure.
- Experience administering Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting and automation technologies.
- Experience with Artifactory and database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Managed Instance, Oracle, and DB2.
- Experience with application security, vulnerability management, and code quality tools including Snyk, Contrast, and SonarQube.
- Understanding of C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, and .NET.
- Preferred experience includes Java, C#, or Node.js development and use of Jira, ServiceNow, and Power Apps.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps Engineer, DevOps, DevSecOps, and ITIL certifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile, cross-functional environments and demonstrate commitment to automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.

- Annual salary range of $73,725.00 CAD to $122,875.00 CAD, with eligibility for incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
