Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java- and Python-based applications and microservices.
- Build and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Design and implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch solutions, including document indexing, upserts, and Bool Query-based search.
- Build and optimize PySpark and AWS Glue ETL jobs.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Amazon EKS.
- Participate in code reviews, production support, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with PySpark and AWS Glue for data processing.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and SSM.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Bool Queries, document indexing/upserts, and Kibana.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- BA/BS degree and 7–10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
