Base Salary
$126k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and launch mobile products and services for Compass’s home buying and selling platform.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design partners to scope, prioritize, and deliver customer-focused projects.
- Independently develop components and features with some guidance while evaluating technical tradeoffs.
- Participate in code reviews, team design reviews, and engineering-led initiatives.
- Write high-quality, testable, maintainable, and stable code.
- Create technical documentation including diagrams, service descriptions, decisions, and runbooks.
- Develop expertise in components within the team’s domain and maintain high operational rigor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional iOS development experience using Swift and shipping applications to the App Store.
- Familiarity with modern Swift development practices such as SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency; reactive programming experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, iOS design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience integrating with RESTful backend services.
- Ability to collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders and deliver polished, user-friendly products.
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Base pay range of $126,000-$141,000, with potential bonuses and restricted stock units excluded from the base range.
