Base Salary
$159k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end perception architecture across sensors, perception processing, machine learning, fusion, 3D mapping, validation, and safety.
- Lead the Physical AI Perception Architecture Team and own the perception roadmap, architecture decisions, and system-level tradeoffs.
- Integrate sensor processing, object detection, semantic understanding, fusion, tracking, 3D mapping, and safety as a unified system.
- Coordinate perception architecture with Robotics, Edge Platform, Simulation, Machine Platform, Validation, and Safety teams.
- Ensure perception outputs are usable by downstream teams, deployable on edge platforms, replayable in simulation, and safe for machine behavior.
- Maintain perception architecture artifacts, output contracts, interface standards, decision records, and technical risk assessments.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end perception architecture and connect perception outputs to robotics, planning, control, simulation, edge runtime, machine platform interfaces, safety analysis, and field validation.
- Experience with deployed autonomous, robotic, vehicle, industrial, agricultural, construction, mining, or mobile machine systems.
- Strong multisensor integration and fusion experience involving camera, lidar, radar, stereo, ultrasonic, GNSS, localization inputs, and machine state data.
- Familiarity with validation, safety, Physical AI platforms, and the NVIDIA ecosystem.
- Typically 10+ years of progressive software engineering and architecture experience focused on data and 8+ years of team leadership.
- Experience leading technology development for enterprise-scale systems in public cloud and hybrid ecosystems.
- Understanding of C++ and experience programming in Python.
