Responsibilities
- Develop safety-relevant low-level software for SoC-based automotive platforms within an ISO 26262 development process.
- Implement and review bootloaders, hypervisor integration layers, and OS/BSP-level functionality.
- Implement and verify safety mechanisms including MPU configuration, error handling, watchdog management, and other platform safety features.
- Maintain traceability across requirements, implementation, verification activities, and test artifacts.
- Contribute to unit design, interface documentation, code reviews, functional safety, freedom from interference, and MISRA compliance.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in embedded or low-level software development.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.
- Hands-on embedded systems experience with bare-metal, RTOS, or hypervisor-based environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 software development requirements and safety-compliant processes.
- Experience with SoC-based platforms and low-level software components.
- Communicative English for collaboration within international teams.
- Preferred qualifications include QNX Hypervisor or similar virtualization experience, knowledge of MPU, ECC, or lockstep architectures, safety-critical verification and validation experience, automotive software development knowledge, and MISRA compliance familiarity.
