Responsibilities
- Integrate and maintain embedded Linux software across existing hardware platforms.
- Support kernel configuration, low-level debugging, troubleshooting, and occasional patching.
- Develop user-space tooling, scripting, and automation using Bash and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide Linux expertise across multiple product lines.
- Improve internal Linux processes, testing pipelines, and technical documentation.
- Grow toward contributing to platform architecture and long-term Linux strategy.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience with embedded Linux development in user space and/or kernel space.
- Familiarity with the Yocto Project or a comparable Linux build framework such as Buildroot; candidates willing to learn Yocto are also welcome.
- Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting and programming, with the ability to work across multiple languages.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including experience maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
