Responsibilities
- Build, package, and deploy software product applications on internal test systems.
- Implement process and tooling improvements related to configuration management.
- Perform entry-level source-code debugging to help resolve integration problems.
- Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and software-tool development.
- Create and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, build pipelines, and container repositories using Azure DevOps.
- Train and mentor team members on software testing and proven testing methodologies.
- Participate actively in Agile team duties and share technical experience with colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and Jenkins build-management tools.
- Hands-on experience creating Azure CI/CD pipelines and using Azure DevOps for repositories, work items, build pipelines, and container repositories.
- Administration-level knowledge of Windows and Linux, preferably Red Hat.
- Development or scripting skills in PowerShell, Perl, ksh, bash, Python, C++, C#, or Java.
- Knowledge of MSI and RPM packaging, Podman containers, Ansible, and Kafka.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions, make quality-related decisions, and apply knowledge of product development and Agile processes.
- Diversified knowledge of engineering, electric utilities, and related functions.
