Base Salary

$264k - $380k/yr

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical leader on critical, cross-functional projects.
Break down problems and build consensus across multiple parties.
Function as both a problem solver and a problem finder.
Balance long-term thinking with immediate business needs.
Understand trade-offs between consistency, performance, and costs.
Ensure operational readiness of services and meet customer commitments.
Apply software engineering and analytical problem-solving skills to solve real business needs.

10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
Appreciation of Postgres with experience as an end user or administrator.
Strong systems programming experience, with Ruby as a plus.
Experience building high-availability, multi-tenant, or distributed data systems.
Comfortable navigating large, complex codebases.
Track record of driving projects from concept to production.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
