Senior Software Engineer | GenAI Gateway
Mercado LibreResponsibilities
- Engineer the Universal Gateway to process millions of monthly requests while abstracting the complexity of multiple AI providers.
- Design and evolve complex asynchronous architectures optimized for concurrency and large-volume data processing.
- Ensure new model integrations meet standards for documentation, cost configuration, observability, and communication.
- Solve complex technical problems involving traffic limits and resilience strategies to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to maintain platform stability during continued growth and expansion.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of backend programming with Golang applied to high-performance microservices.
- Experience identifying bottlenecks in distributed systems and proposing scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of SRE techniques and observability tools for monitoring application health.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing cloud infrastructure under security criteria.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases for managing state and large-scale processes.
