Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade asynchronous APIs with FastAPI, WebSockets, JWT middleware, Pydantic validation, and server lifecycle management.
- Operate and manage AWS services including DynamoDB, ECS, IAM, and Bedrock for availability, security, and scalability.
- Implement LLM and AI agent architectures using prompt engineering, model selection, and multi-step orchestration with LangChain or CrewAI.
- Create and maintain robust unit and integration tests using the stated testing tools and AWS mocking approaches.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
- Evaluate AI tooling, recommend effective uses, and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with Python backend development, FastAPI, and ASGI.
- Hands-on experience operating AWS services, including DynamoDB, ECS, and IAM.
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, AI agent frameworks, and applied prompt engineering.
- Proven ability to write and maintain unit and integration tests from day one.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with one or more AI tools for drafting, analysis, research, or process automation is preferred.
