Responsibilities
- Lead mainframe assessment, discovery, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional and high-performing teams and large-scale enterprise engagements.
- Develop comprehensive discovery reports and actionable migration roadmaps.
- Perform mainframe capacity planning, MIPS analysis, application portfolio assessment, and cost optimization analysis.
- Engage technical teams and C-suite stakeholders on mainframe strategy and modernization.
- Translate complex technical findings into business-aligned recommendations.
- Guide mainframe-to-cloud migration and hybrid cloud integration initiatives.
- Support consulting engagements and pre-sales activities when needed.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Deep hands-on expertise with IBM z/OS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, RACF, and ACF2.
- Experience leading teams, managing enterprise engagements, and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience in mainframe assessment, discovery, modernization, and transformation.
- Experience with AWS Mainframe Migration and Google MDMC is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CAST Highlight, BluAge, IDz, and Endevor is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud integration, consulting, pre-sales, cost optimization, and application portfolio assessment is preferred.
