Responsibilities
- Define and continuously enhance secure coding standards, guidance documents, blueprints, checklists, and best practices.
- Identify and train Security Champions within application teams and collaborate with them on software security topics.
- Moderate application security threat-modeling sessions in preparation for Security Design Authority approval.
- Educate engineers on secure development practices and help development communities embed security into software delivery.
- Prepare and deliver security training sessions, demos, live sessions, and security articles for on-premises, GCP, and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with business divisions, application teams, and engineering communities to integrate security services into software development processes and CI/CD platforms.
Requirements
- Knowledge of security standards and practices including ISO 27001 or equivalent and the OWASP Top 10.
- Prior experience with threat modeling, including methods such as STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and tools used by developers.
- Proven IT security experience in previous positions.
- Knowledge of software development and coding, such as Java or another programming language.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, communicate security guidance, and work independently and proactively.
