Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable, secure, maintainable, production-ready software across the full Product Development Lifecycle.
- Integrate AI capabilities into ServiceNow to improve colleague experience solutions, platform functionality, usability, and automation.
- Use AI tools and automation across development, testing, documentation, code reviews, and deployment to improve productivity and delivery speed.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, deliver fixes, and drive service stability and continuous improvement.
- Apply enterprise security, privacy, compliance, responsible AI, prompt safety, data handling, auditability, and governance controls.
- Create reusable assets, reference implementations, standards, and guardrails for AI-driven engineering adoption.
- Mentor colleagues on AI-assisted engineering, DevOps, and modern development practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, platform teams, operations, architecture, security, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience using Java, Python, or a similar language to deliver production-ready code.
- Strong capability in software design, solutioning, development, unit testing, scalability, maintainability, and impact analysis.
- Hands-on ServiceNow development experience or experience with similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities such as LLMs, AI agents, and RAG patterns through APIs and event-driven patterns.
- Experience using AI tools and copilots for development, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, multi-environment promotion, and production support.
- Familiarity with Docker and orchestration concepts such as Kubernetes.
- Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, compliance, responsible AI, data handling, prompt safety, and auditability.
- ServiceNow Now Assist, Copilot Studio, KIRO, or equivalent AI-enabled tooling experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, advocate for AI-driven product development, and contribute reusable assets and innovation ideas.
