Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable full-stack software components and features for the Kompass AI governance platform.
- Own solutions end to end, including architecture, coding, troubleshooting, testing, code reviews, deployment, and service maintenance.
- Develop analytical workflows and embed security and controllership compliance into developer tools and processes.
- Partner with engineering and business teams across geographies to plan, design, execute, and implement the platform.
- Lead project initiatives, influence long-term vision and strategy, mentor junior engineers, and support sophisticated internal customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 1 year of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience delivering complex software systems to customers and knowledge of software engineering and full lifecycle best practices.
