Responsibilities
- Create complex, scalable coding frameworks and durable reusable software frameworks.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows across teams.
- Define guardrails and measurable standards for validation, secure coding, auditability, resiliency, automated testing, and reuse.
- Drive adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering and automation practices across teams.
- Advise cross-functional teams and influence business, product, technology, and senior technical leaders.
- Define enterprise-scale AI-enabled target-state architecture, solution architectures, and roadmaps for Consumer & Community Banking.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and contribute to technical methods in specialized fields.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages.
- Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices, including human-in-the-loop validation, auditability, traceability, and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use, engineering controls, security, resiliency, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance.
- Experience solving complex technology problems and applying new methods in one or more technical disciplines.
- Understanding of the business and practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred: experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, technical processes, cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
