Base Salary

$149k - $318k/yr

Responsibilities

Solve broad, difficult problems through innovative software solutions and introduce new technologies or patterns.
Develop reusable software modules, configurable capabilities, and AI-assisted tools that enable business self-service.
Improve value-stream processes, software integration, delivery patterns, and production support.
Guide code and design reviews and help establish software development standards.
Coach and mentor team members and drive AI adoption across the value stream.
Provide support for high-severity incidents, incident resolution, blameless reviews, and potentially on-call production coverage.
Identify and help address technical debt and process issues and communicate software concepts to audiences across the organization.

Demonstrated ability to solve high-level problems through innovative software solutions.
Experience with value-stream programming languages, frameworks, and platforms such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Angular, and AWS, ideally with expertise in C# and/or AWS.
Expertise developing software modules or patterns used across multiple teams.
Experience refining software integration and delivery patterns to improve ongoing support.
Experience translating business requirements into work items, refining requirements, and assisting with software design.
Expertise mentoring and developing others and providing thought leadership across internal software development groups.
Preferred bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Preferred nine years of professional software engineering or similar experience.
Preferred cloud-environment expertise or advanced cloud-provider certification, ideally AWS.
Preferred expertise designing or refining agent-driven software delivery.
Preferred experience building self-service configuration tools or pricing and eligibility systems, ideally in mortgage or financial services.
Preferred hands-on experience using AI to modernize legacy problem spaces and accelerate software delivery.
