$171k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop autonomy algorithms that extract high-fidelity semantic meaning from complex urban edge cases.
- Architect onboard systems, including upstream sensor dependency management and evaluation metrics.
- Define requirements for large, high-quality evaluation datasets and objective system-performance metrics.
- Identify complex edge cases and create robust algorithmic solutions.
- Partner with platform, product, and security engineering teams to deploy machine learning techniques into production.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Vision, Fluid Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in the autonomous driving domain is preferred.
- A proven track record deploying algorithms in safety-critical physical systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of game theory is preferred.
- Experience with control and optimization theory as part of the course of study is preferred.
- Proficiency in C++ and Linux environments is preferred.
