Base Salary
$171k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms that extract high-fidelity semantic meaning from complex urban edge cases and enrich the L4 data lake.
- Architect onboard systems, including upstream sensor dependency management and evaluation metrics.
- Define requirements for large, high-quality evaluation datasets and objective system-performance metrics.
- Collaborate with platform, product, and security engineering teams to deploy machine learning techniques into production.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, high-quality code in a production or collaborative research environment.
- Deep technical expertise in areas such as distributed systems, algorithmic design, optimization, or large-scale data processing.
- Documented experience solving complex, unstructured problems through independent research or technical projects.
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, and reusable software solutions for complex architectural or algorithmic challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in high-ambiguity environments with adaptability and a bias for action.
- Strong systems-thinking skills and the ability to balance long-term technical health with short-term business needs.
- Excellent communication skills and experience translating complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
