Responsibilities
- Execute architectural vision for major, complex IT architecture projects while ensuring conformance with enterprise blueprints.
- Develop technology road maps, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend technology directions aligned with business strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and develop component or overall systems designs, including hardware-software interfaces.
- Translate complex business problems into scalable, technically sound solutions and recommend integrated platforms, desktop environments, and communication links.
- Advise senior stakeholders, influence architecture decisions, mentor junior team members, and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Assess technology and operational risk while supporting compliance, ethical conduct, and protection of Citi, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT architecture, systems design, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Deep expertise in end-to-end systems design, hardware-software integration, platform engineering, and enterprise blueprint conformance.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure and their associated cloud services for scalable, cloud-native solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, or COBOL and experience building enterprise-grade applications in regulated financial environments.
- Experience with TIBCO, Apache Kafka, or MuleSoft and event-driven or message-based architectures.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including production deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD for complex build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, or Redis, including performance tuning, schema design, and data modeling.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk for monitoring and observability.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker, or Azure ML and applying intelligent solutions to engineering challenges.
- Bachelor's or university degree or equivalent experience; a master's degree may be considered.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, prioritization, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

- Full-time position based in New York, New York.
- Base salary range of $142,320.00 to $213,480.00 per year, excluding incentive and retention awards.
