Responsibilities
- Develop software and firmware that enable applications to use force sensors.
- Implement algorithms for sensor-data processing, including polynomial and piecewise-linear fitting, interpolation, classification, distribution analysis, and digital filtering.
- Propose and implement customer solutions spanning mechanical, electrical, software integration, and algorithm development.
- Manage customer evaluation kits and sensor-module design and fabrication.
- Provide multidisciplinary technical support to customers from concept through mass production.
- Conduct sensor-level and system-level testing, characterization, and competitor analysis.
- Create reference designs, application notes, white papers, and other technical documentation.
- Provide product training to customers, sales teams, and field application engineers.
- Collect customer feedback, coordinate with marketing and R&D, contribute to product roadmaps, and support new technology development.
- Stay current with consumer electronics and related industries.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with Android, Linux, and embedded MCU RTOS environments.
- Familiarity with I2C and USB protocols.
- Experience developing algorithms with Python, NumPy, and C.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools such as VSCode with Git Copilot.
- Experience in the semiconductor and automotive industries is desired.
