Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end software and analytic data processing solutions from vision through production.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and analytic workflows for large datasets.
- Use Python and Java to develop software and data analytics solutions.
- Design solutions for cloud-based environments and large-scale distributed processing.
- Write and optimize queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Evaluate architecture and operating environments while planning future functionality and enhancements.
- Identify system improvements and optimize the performance of data processing systems.
- Collaborate with clients and development teams in an Agile or team-based environment.
Requirements
- Experience developing analytic data processing solutions using Python and Java.
- Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or analytic workflows.
- Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, or SciPy for processing and analyzing large datasets.
- Ability to develop in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
- Experience with Apache Spark or MapReduce for large-scale data processing.
- Ability to write and optimize queries using SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- High school diploma or GED with 11+ years of software engineering or data analytics development experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 7+ years of such experience.
- Preferred experience with PMR, distributed computing environments, data modeling, schema design, Git, big-data architecture, data pipeline design, and data-processing performance optimization.
- Preferred experience collaborating in an Agile or team-based development environment.

- Projected compensation is $96.16 to $110.58 per hour.
