Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance solutions across a multi-technology stack.
- Collaborate with onshore engineering teams to deliver features, resolve defects, and integrate solutions across the delivery lifecycle.
- Support critical production systems to ensure performance, resilience, and adherence to enterprise standards and controls.
- Participate in sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement within an established Scrum team aligned to SAFe.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, automation, and process improvements.
- Follow security policies, protect the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, report suspected security violations, and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Java-based backend development and Oracle relational databases.
- Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
- Knowledge of TDD and BDD testing frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Angular and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with SQL scripting and data handling.
- Experience with REST, messaging, and event-driven frameworks or solutions.
- Exposure to DevOps tooling and knowledge of security mechanisms.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, ideally within SAFe.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, and distributed-team collaboration skills.
- Exposure to payment systems or financial services environments is desirable.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability platforms is desirable.
