Base Salary
$100k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production features across the TypeScript stack.
- Own backend services, APIs, integrations, data flows, and serverless infrastructure.
- Contribute to frontend development using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Design and maintain serverless, event-driven systems on AWS.
- Build integrations with enterprise systems, contract platforms, communication tools, and third-party APIs.
- Work directly with enterprise customers and translate their requirements into product capabilities.
- Use SST and related infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Direct, review, test, debug, and improve AI-generated code while maintaining production quality.
- Help shape engineering practices, technical direction, architecture, and product improvements.
Requirements
- Senior or Staff-level software engineering experience with deep professional TypeScript experience.
- Strong backend skills using Node.js, Bun, or similar runtimes, with the ability to work across the full stack.
- Experience building and operating production systems on AWS, including serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Experience designing APIs, integrations, distributed backend workflows, and systems using PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and advanced AI coding tools or agents.
- Strong product judgment, ownership, organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with customers and non-technical stakeholders and turn ambiguous needs into shipped solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include founding or early-stage startup experience, forward-deployed or solutions engineering experience, enterprise AI or workflow-automation experience, deep AWS knowledge, SST or Pulumi experience, and relevant public projects or code samples.
- Experience integrating with SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake, Microsoft 365, Slack, or contract lifecycle management platforms is advantageous.
