Responsibilities
- Analyze large Git repositories to identify service boundaries and dependencies.
- Build AI agents that interact with source code, Git platforms, CI/CD systems, and engineering tools.
- Diagnose build and deployment failures using source code, configuration, and pipeline logs.
- Create RAG-based solutions for searching and understanding codebases and technical documentation.
- Automate architecture and engineering documentation generation.
- Connect LLMs to engineering systems through APIs and tool calling.
- Build controlled agentic workflows with validation, retries, confidence checks, and human approval steps.
- Evaluate LLMs and approaches for software engineering use cases.
- Turn prototypes into reusable, maintainable, production-ready engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with cloud, platform, and software engineers.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, cloud engineering, or cloud-native software engineering.
- Strong programming and automation skills, preferably in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures.
- Understanding of Git-based development workflows and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience integrating systems through APIs, SDKs, and automation.
- Strong understanding of how distributed applications and cloud services are built, deployed, and operated.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating generative AI or LLM-based applications.
- Practical experience with RAG, semantic or vector search, LLM tool calling, AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM evaluation, observability, quality validation, AI-assisted source-code analysis, or developer tooling.
- Experience with at least one relevant agent or retrieval framework is preferred, rather than requiring a specific technology.
- Experience with OpenStack, Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, vector databases, LlamaIndex, developer platforms, large software repositories, software architecture analysis, technical due diligence, or security- or sovereignty-sensitive environments is advantageous.
