Base Salary

$120k - $199k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers and distribute work according to team members’ skills, capacity, and development goals.
  • Review team members’ code for quality, performance, and adherence to standards.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges, remove blockers, provide technical mentorship, and support career development.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies for the team.
  • Perform analysis, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, monitoring, alerting, and implementation for assigned systems.
  • Define technical requirements, coordinate team resources, resolve advanced defects and incidents, and collaborate with users and technical support areas.
  • Contribute to software design strategy, delivery estimation, automation, incremental releases, and tradeoff decisions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • At least four additional years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and AWS is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to create a supportive environment for engineers to learn and grow.
  • Strong delivery, problem-solving, domain expertise, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently on well-scoped and loosely scoped problems and manage complex technical issues.
