Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and operate production AWS Bedrock infrastructure, including Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails, and OpenSearch Serverless RAG pipelines.
- Configure and govern Microsoft 365 Copilot, including sensitivity labels, Graph connectors, DLP integration, and licensing scope.
- Develop and maintain Terraform or AWS CDK infrastructure as code for governed multi-environment deployments.
- Integrate structured and unstructured enterprise data sources, document repositories, and APIs into Bedrock workloads.
- Build monitoring, logging, audit, governance, and compliance tooling for the AI platform.
- Own the enterprise AI reference architecture and define standards for model selection, prompt design, RAG patterns, retrieval evaluation, and data grounding.
- Lead Architecture Review Board submissions and maintain architecture decisions, runbooks, standards, and governance artifacts.
- Develop AI-specific policies, intake processes, risk classification frameworks, and platform controls with governance, security, and compliance teams.
- Manage Microsoft and AWS vendor relationships and track relevant product roadmap changes.
- Lead the AI Community of Practice, drive Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption, mentor matrixed team members, and support AI use-case scoping.
- Manage the AI platform budget and vendor contracts as the function scales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree.
- 7–10 years of experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations with progression into senior technical ownership.
- Hands-on production experience with AWS Bedrock Agents, Knowledge Bases, and Guardrails.
- Experience deploying and governing Microsoft 365 Copilot in an enterprise environment, including sensitivity labels, Graph connectors, and DLP integration.
- Experience operating as a solo or near-solo platform owner with build-and-operate responsibilities.
- Experience delivering AI platform work in a matrixed organization without direct-report authority.
- Experience integrating structured and unstructured enterprise data sources, such as Snowflake, SharePoint, relational databases, or operational APIs, preferred.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional, ML Specialty, or Security Specialty certification preferred.
- Azure AI Engineer Associate or M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert certification preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent enterprise ITSM platform for AI use-case intake and catalog management.
- Knowledge of AWS services, Microsoft 365, Terraform or AWS CDK, RAG architecture, vector embeddings, retrieval evaluation, AI security and governance, and enterprise security frameworks such as NIST CSF or SOC 2.
- Ability to produce governance documentation and communicate effectively with technical teams and business leadership.
- Experience driving AI tool adoption and change management with non-technical users.
