Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions across applications, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
- Engage clients, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to understand requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Translate business and technical requirements into practical, scalable solution architectures.
- Lead technical discovery, consulting engagements, workshops, and solution discussions.
- Present architecture options, recommendations, trade-offs, and technical roadmaps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and help clients make informed technology decisions.
- Define architecture standards, patterns, and technology choices.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, security, DevOps, and delivery teams during implementation.
- Produce architecture diagrams, technical specifications, proposals, and solution documentation.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, costs, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership across the development and implementation lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, reliability, and cost requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Senior Engineer.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder-management experience, including direct client engagement.
- Strong experience designing cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with databases, integrations, messaging, and enterprise application architecture.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Ruby, Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
- Strong understanding of security, authentication, networking, scalability, and system performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
