Responsibilities
- Define the multi-year technical strategy and architectural roadmap for AI platforms.
- Architect foundational platforms and systems used across multiple products and teams.
- Partner with executive and clinical leadership to translate healthcare goals into technical strategies.
- Represent engineering in board-level and regulatory conversations.
- Own the company-wide safety and evaluation standards for AI agents.
- Mentor Staff and Senior engineers and shape hiring practices.
- Engage with the broader healthcare AI community through publications and talks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software, ML, or AI engineering.
- Proven track record of building and shipping AI or ML products in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in distributed systems and APIs.
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases, and retrieval systems.
- Experience with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
