Base Salary

$166k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

Assess AI-generated prototypes and make technical decisions to harden, rebuild, or redirect them while owning outcomes end to end.
Design, build, and ship secure, reliable enterprise backend or full-stack services on Robinhood’s enterprise platforms.
Use agentic coding tools and build MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills as production artifacts when appropriate.
Partner with Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to translate business workflows into adopted software.
Deliver runbooks, evaluations, dashboards, and other operational handoff materials.
Create reusable platform capabilities with the Enterprise Platforms team and review AI-generated code to a high engineering standard.

5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production backend or full-stack systems.
Track record of independently delivering high-ambiguity projects end to end.
Hands-on cloud experience, preferably with GCP, including containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and serverless systems.
Daily fluency with agentic coding tools and experience building LLM-powered applications or agentic workflows.
Ability to review, harden, and productionize AI-generated code with strong product sense and scoping discipline.
Exceptional communication with non-engineers and comfort working with Finance, Legal, or HR partners.
Experience in highly regulated industries, especially finance or fintech, is strongly preferred.
