Base Salary

$125k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement PHY algorithms for satellite-based 4G/5G LTE/NR eNodeB/gNodeB systems.
  • Develop optimized signal-processing algorithms for resource-constrained CPUs.
  • Build models and run simulations to validate system and modem performance.
  • Design, implement, test, maintain, and document wireless PHY and MAC protocol-stack layers.
  • Debug complex performance issues across wireless PHY and MAC layers.
  • Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and contribute to system dimensioning and next-generation hardware algorithm design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or another STEM discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in wireless signal processing, wireless communications, modem systems design, wireless systems engineering, DSP, or physical-layer processing.
  • At least one year of C/C++ or Matlab coding experience.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP 4G/5G LTE/NR physical-layer design or modern broadband OFDM waveforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FEC coding, MAC/L2, fixed- and floating-point signal processing, Linux command line, Git, Python, and SDR is preferred.
  • Experience supporting products through commercial deployment and strong debugging, performance optimization, analytical, communication, and engineering skills are preferred.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours as needed.
  • Must satisfy applicable U.S. ITAR eligibility or obtain required authorizations.
