Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a modern, flexible, scalable, high-throughput, low-latency network architecture.
  • Implement routing and forwarding, traffic engineering, and SDN technologies for broadband network services.
  • Implement highly available software driving network control-plane operations on physical and remote nodes.
  • Develop routing control-plane software in C and Rust.
  • Automate software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance processes.
  • Provide operational excellence, tooling, and operational process refinement for control-plane services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export-control requirements.
