Base Salary
$102k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customers to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Instrument data and develop metrics for product usage, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Design and implement identity management components, features, and platform enhancements.
- Debug and resolve complex live-site issues involving compute, networking, storage, and distributed systems.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze production telemetry and customer feedback to drive continuous improvements.
- Promote automated validation, staged deployments, continuous integration and delivery, and developer productivity tooling.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools throughout design, development, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed data pipelines or ingestion systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services for scalable production ingestion systems is preferred.
- Experience operating production distributed services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and on-call or live-site support, is preferred.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD, including automated build, test, and release pipelines, is preferred.
- Experience using AI-assisted development and tooling to improve engineering efficiency and quality is preferred.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements is required.
