Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions for a high-performance security data platform.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical design of services that ingest, process, normalize, store, and analyze security data.
- Build reliable distributed systems operating at exabyte scale across billions of data streams, files, tables, and reports.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and incorporate customer feedback and actionable usage metrics into designs and fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, building, or operating scalable distributed systems, data platforms, or large-scale cloud services.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of security principles and challenges in large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with high-scale mission-critical SaaS products or services, security data, large-scale data processing, logging, telemetry, monitoring, or related data platforms.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed system design.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
