Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for Amazon Leo satellite and ground terminal systems.
- Develop scalable, modular, and high-performance software for Embedded Linux and RTOS platforms.
- Implement and integrate data processing, device control, and networking protocols including TCP/IP and UDP.
- Debug complex hardware-software integration issues using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and product teams to ensure reliable hardware-software interaction.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and uphold software quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- U.S. citizenship is required to comply with U.S. government-imposed export-control requirements.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Xilinx platforms, custom silicon development, cryptography, and secure SDLC practices.
- Preferred: in-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, including process scheduling, memory management, concurrency, synchronization, and networking subsystems.

- Base salary range is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
