Responsibilities
- Analyze, improve, and scale the performance, scalability, and stability of production systems.
- Lead the architecture and development of mission-critical, large-scale data pipelines.
- Design, develop, and test production-grade Python components within a microservice architecture.
- Own features end to end from concept through production while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Work with R&D, Product, and Operations teams to ensure features meet customer needs.
- Learn and apply knowledge of the travel technology industry.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Practical experience building large-scale systems.
- Proficiency with Python.
- Experience working in a cloud environment; AWS experience is advantageous.
- Experience with algorithm design and implementation or machine learning is advantageous.
- Prior technical leadership or team lead experience is advantageous.
