Responsibilities
- Assess existing applications and usages, identify technical debt and modernization opportunities, and help prioritize an improvement backlog.
- Build materialized views and metrics views, develop dashboards, and customize Talk to my Data spaces for business use cases.
- Participate in migrating legacy BI visualization and dataviz usages to the platform’s native AI/BI capabilities.
- Contribute to refactoring historical applications to improve performance, maintainability, and alignment with Factory standards.
- Support initiatives involving agentic AI to improve the Data Factory’s build and run activities.
- Progressively take ownership of end-to-end development as skills grow and collaborate with technical and business teams.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a Bac+5 work-study program at an engineering school, university, or specialized master’s program in computer science, data, or statistics.
- Have knowledge of SQL and Python; PySpark or Spark knowledge is a plus.
- Understand GenAI and Agentic AI concepts, including RAG; significant experience implementing AI solutions is a plus.
- Show interest in modern data environments and data and AI modernization initiatives.
- Have knowledge of Databricks, including Unity Catalog, SDP, AI/BI, and agent bricks, as well as Microsoft services including Azure, DevOps, Power BI, and Fabric.
- Demonstrate rigor, progressive autonomy, curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills.
