Responsibilities
- Partner with P&L owners and subject matter experts to identify high-value AI opportunities and create an AI initiative roadmap.
- Lead hands-on development and deployment of AI-powered applications, including data analysis, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows.
- Use shared AI platforms and reusable components while providing feedback to the central AI Hub roadmap.
- Package successful solutions and techniques into reusable components for the central library.
- Mentor product engineers and provide technical leadership within the Accelerator Team.
- Own projects from business case through delivery and handover, ensuring robust, scalable solutions and measurable business value.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML with extensive hands-on development experience.
- Deep experience building and shipping LLM applications, including advanced RAG, agentic systems, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques.
- Expert-level Python skills and a strong foundation in classical machine learning and deep learning; PyTorch is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with vector databases, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud AI services such as GCP Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, and SageMaker.
- Strong product and business acumen, including the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into technical requirements and impactful solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with technical and non-technical partners.
- German language skills are advantageous but not required.
