Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable applications in a cloud-based environment.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables with product owners, architects, and senior engineers.
- Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Use AI technologies, prompt engineering, coding assistants, agent-based workflows, and AI-powered tools to improve development productivity, quality, testing, and operations.
- Participate in code reviews, unit and integration testing, deployment processes, and test automation.
- Monitor systems, respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and remediate operational issues.
- Research emerging technologies and conduct proofs of concept to improve product performance and development efficiency.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and automation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, project planning, prioritization, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency with Java 8 or higher and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of Azure Public Cloud and cloud-native development; exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor for coding, testing, documentation, debugging, and design.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Experience with TDD and BDD software development processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Preferred exposure to Terraform, Ansible, data pipelines, ETL, Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and AI-assisted SDLC practices.
