Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the technology stack.
- Research, analyze, and document findings while supporting engineering teams.
- Evaluate code for validity, structure, standards alignment, and operating-system compatibility.
- Participate in test review, analysis, witnessing, and software certification.
- Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete software designs, code, and tests on schedule.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with ReactJS, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS, DynamoDB, S3, and Lambda.
- Knowledge of software development tools, version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to new technologies and processes, and communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts.
